Terms and Conditions:
Confirmation: I am interested in buying used-Appliances (Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Air Conditioners, LCD/ LED Televisions and Dishwashers) directly from consumers through The United Trading Company (UTC) ‘Exchange-Program’. I have been explained the working of the program by UTC representatives.
1. I understand that an 'Exchange-Wallet' will be filled by me through a bank-transfer to UTC bank account.
2. This wallet will be managed on my behalf by UTC for purchase of Used Appliances from consumers.
3. UTC will operate the wallet to pay to consumers for the Purchase-Price of old exchange products.
4. I authorise UTC for operating this wallet-advance on my behalf only for above purpose.
5. The Quality Check (QC) criteria for exchange products will be pre-approved by me to UTC. Decision of field service technician for the QC will be final.
6. The Total Price has been mutually agreed for different product categories & QC conditions.
7. The Total Price of the old exchange product to my firm will include (a) Purchase price paid to the customer, and (b) Platform fee charges payable to UTC. This fee to be charged by UTC will be inclusive of GST.
8. The selection of consumers & mix of products will be decided by UTC before pick-up. I will not dispute this selection. UTC will use fair system for allocation.
9. The consumer will hand-over the exchange-product after QC to UTC's Service/ logistics partner. I am authorising such partner(s) to collect the exchange goods on my behalf from consumers; and store them.
10. In case of storage requested by me, I will collect these products from the local office of these logistics partners within two working days, at my own cost. Products will be stored for maximum three days, after which storage charges of Rs. 25 will be payable per-unit, per-week.
11. UTC's Logistic partner will collect a document of sale for the exchange product from customer to my firm
12. I understand that I have to acknowledge the receipt of these Products to the logistics provider. This will be considered as completion of the utilization of my wallet balance for this purchase.
13. I will sign the statement of account after due checking at every month-end, before new month begins.
14. I will regularly check my Exchange-Wallet balance with UTC and keep it sufficiently topped-up for buying exchange products under this Program.
15. All disagreements and disputes that cannot be resolved through mutual discussions and arbitration, will solely be decided by courts in Mumbai, India.
